Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 And He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is has the will to be grateful. 62 And the bondmen of the Compassionate are those who walk upon the earth meekly and when the ignorants address them, they say peace 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
