Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 Meditate upon the name of your Lord morning and evening; 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Verily they love (the good of this world) that is hastily obtainable and are oblivious of the burdensome Day ahead of them. 27 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 For He admits into His mercy whomsoever He will; as for the evildoers, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement. 31
