Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 storming tempestuously 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
