The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
