Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
