We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
