۞ O men! you are they who stand in need of Allah, and Allah is He Who is the Self-sufficient, the Praised One. 15 If He please, He will take you off and bring a new generation. 16 This would not cost God dear at all. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 The blind and the seeing are not equal, 19 Nor darkness and light, 20 nor shade and heat 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
