3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
