Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
