We verily gave Moses the Scripture; so be not ye in doubt of his receiving it; and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel. 23 We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command when they were steadfast and when they had firm faith in Our signs. 24 Surely your Lord will decide between them about what they were at variance, on the Day of Resurrection. 25 [But] can, then, they [who deny the truth] learn no lesson by recalling how many a generation We have destroyed before their time? [people] in whose dwelling-places they [themselves now] walk about? In this, behold, there are messages indeed: will they not, then, listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful? 28 Say: On the day of judgment the faith of those who (now) disbelieve will not profit them, nor will they be respited. 29 So turn aside from them (O Muhammad SAW) and await, verily they (too) are awaiting. 30
