And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
