We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
