(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
