ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 [The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
