BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 therein maidens good and comely -- 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
