I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning to mortals, 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About the criminals, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. The disbelievers will not have any intercessor. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
