He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 Yet for all thou didst know, [O Muhammad,] he might perhaps have grown in purity, 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, 8 and in awe of God 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 In the hands of scribes (angels). 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 Then maketh the way easy for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Let the human reflect on the food he eats, 24 How We pour water in showers 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 And We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 and olives and palms, 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 And fruits and Abba (herbage, etc.), 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 wife and sons, 36 Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
