Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Noble and recording; 11 who know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
