Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
