The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And therein raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
