The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Striking? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
