▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
