And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
