If they call you a liar, tell them, "Let each one of us follow his own way. You will not be responsible for what I do and I will not be responsible for what you do". 41 And among them are some who listen to you; so will you make the deaf hear even if they do not have any sense? 42 And there are among them such as [pretend to] look towards thee: but canst thou show the right way to the blind even though they cannot see? 43 Lo! Allah wrongeth not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves. 44 And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried but an hour of the day, recognising one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided. 45 Whether We show you something of what We have promised them or cause you to die [before that], to Us they shall return. God is Witness to all that they do. 46 And for every nation there is a messenger. And when their messenger cometh (on the Day of Judgment) it will be judged between them fairly, and they will not be wronged. 47 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 48 Say thou: I own not any power of hurt or benefit unto myself, save that which Allah may will. For each community is a term; when their term hath arrived, not an hour can they stay behind nor can they advance. 49 Say thou: bethink ye, if His torment come on you by night or by day which portion thereof would the culprits hasten on? 50 And when it comes to pass, will you believe in it? What! now (you believe), and already you wished to have it hastened on. 51 "At length will be said to the wrong-doers: 'Taste ye the enduring punishment! ye get but the recompense of what ye earned!'" 52 They seek to be informed by thee: "Is that true?" Say: "Aye! by my Lord! it is the very truth! and ye cannot frustrate it!" 53
