Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
