1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 But their nations broke their tasks into pieces; every group happy with what it has. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 "My Signs used to be rehearsed to you, but ye used to turn back on your heels- 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or do they say that he is possessed? In fact, he has brought the truth to them, but most of them abhor the truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it. 77

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
