And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
