We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
