(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
