The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 Abasing exalting. 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 and waters gushing, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
