What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 on the right and on the left in groups? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
