Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
No! By the moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 a warning to mortal man 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except those of the right hand 39 in Gardens they will question 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What took you into the hell?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 "And used to deny the Day of Justice." 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books like the prophets. 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
