The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
