The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
