And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing), 10 the nation of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Me' 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 And my breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me); 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 Said He: "Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verily, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]! 15 Go to Pharaoh, both of you, and say, 'We are messengers from the Lord of the Worlds: 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 [Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 He said: your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers. 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 (Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?" 30 (The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth." 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
