And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 Do you not see that even if We give them respite for years 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 and warn your nearest kinsmen; 214 And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 Should I tell you to whom the satans come? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
