The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. These are revelations of the Qur'an and a Scripture that maketh plain; 1 A guidance and glad tidings for the believers. 2 Who keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and of the hereafter, they are sure. 3 We have made the deeds of those who do not believe in the life to come, attractive to them and they wander about blindly. 4 those are they whom an evil chastisement awaits, and they will be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are receiving the Quran from the One, All-Wise, All-Knowing. 6 (Remember) when Moses said to his family: "I see a fire. I shall bring you news from it, or bring an ember that you may warm yourselves." 7 But when Moses came to the fire, a call was sounded: "Blessed is He Who is in the fire and whatever is around it. Glory be to Allah, the Sustainer of all in the Universe. 8 [And God spoke thus:] "O Moses! Verily I alone am God, the Almighty, the Wise!" 9 “And put down your staff”; so when he saw it writhing like a serpent, he turned moving away without looking back; We said, “O Moosa, do not fear; indeed the Noble Messengers do not fear in My presence.” 10 Except those who do some wrong but afterwards do good to make up for the wrong. And I am forgiving and merciful. 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 But when Our signs came to them in all their clarity they said, "This is clearly sorcery!" 13 And they gainsaid them, out of spite and arrogance, although their souls were convinced thereof. So behold! what hath been the end of the corruptors. 14
