And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW). 82
