The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
