And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
