And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This is for the criminals so that they may taste it boiling hot water and pus. 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
