The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they sat by it, 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
