The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 And weigh with a balance straight. 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He. said: My Lord is the Best Knower of that which ye work. 188 They rejected him, and then had to suffer the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom. That was indeed the punishment of an awful day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
