We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
