The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
