Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 into the boiling water, then into the Fire they are poured; 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 HENCE, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true. And whether We show thee [in this world] something of what We hold in store for those [deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [ere that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they will be brought back. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
