The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 So made them as maidens. 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
