Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
