Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Does man assume that We will never assemble his bones? 3 Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips. 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Resurrection?' 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 And the sun and the moon shall be joined. 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 By no means! No place of safety! 11 Before thy Lord (alone), that Day will be the place of rest. 12 Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. 13 Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness, 14 even though he offer his excuses. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Surely on Us (devolves) the collecting of it and the reciting of it. 17 When We have recited it, follow its words attentively; 18 Then Ours it is to explain it. 19 But no. You love this transient life, 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 Some faces on that Day will be fresh and resplendent, 22 gazing towards their Lord. 23 Others will be despondent, 24 In the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them; 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 And one shank is entangled with the other shank. 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
