Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the bright forenoon, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
